Advancements in our understanding of how the brain works are made possible by the willingness of others to lend their time and faculties to research studies.

BECOME A BDL

RESEARCH PARTICIPANT

Do you enjoy playing games, solving puzzles, or relaxing to a movie? You probably haven't thought about it, but a complex pattern of events unfold in your brain with every activity! These patterns are also altered by the experiences of our day-to-day lives.

In the BDL, we're interested in how such activities relate to the networks in the brain. Our research program uses modern neuroimaging techniques to "see" how the brain accomplishes these tasks, and to track the changes that take place as we learn and grow.

Participating in research can be fun and rewarding! Every participant helps us understand more about ourselves, and answers questions about how our brains really work.

  • The BDL is continuously recruiting people ages 3-80 to participate in research studies, and our lab is wheelchair accessible.

  • Fill out the appropriate form below in order to begin the process of becoming a research participant.

  • Once you submit, someone from the BDL team will be in contact in order to enrol you into the research program.
